Can one speaker be used for two seperate sytems.
Can one set of speakers be used on two different amplifiers one being an av amp the other a stereo amp as long as the speakers are bi wire capable. Or do I need two do somenthing else.
What he said, mostly, but can I just be clear on what you're trying to do? Why do you want to connect two amps to the speakers and what are the amps?
Have the same situation at home. I use the Beresford TC-7220 unit that many on here have recommended.
It works perfectly, build quality is great & the service was teriffic also. Can recommend it.

Thankyou for your replies it sounds as if the beresford will work as I am looking at buying some kef speakers to use as surrounds but I also want to use them on my marantz 6004 set up,

You need a speaker switch between the speakers and the amps: if you connect both amps to the speakers using the biwire terminals you risk damaging the speakers and/or one or both amps.
