best partners for ATC SCM 19s

Hi whats you guys opinion re best partners for SCM 19s from ATC i tried there integrated with a bel canto cd not that impressed. I listen to anything music wise.

I thought the Audiolab 8200Q / 8200MB combo worked very well, then a Bryston 4B SST but at a price.

 

Always had a feeling that a decent valve amp would go well but never had the chance to try one.
