Best amp/ cd to pair with B&W 685's....

Hi, I'm after a bit of advice please. I currently have a pair of B&W 685's connected to an Onkyo CR-755 DAB CD Mini system. I have that connected to Apple TV via optical in, and my TV also connects in. The The sounds quality is I think pretty good, but I'd like to upgrade the Onkyo as I think I could get better sound out of those speakers. Budget is under £1k. For the most part I play music from the ipad wirelessly to the Apple TV for the sheer convenience. (Yes, I'm aware this is not as superior sound as CD!), so the new set up needs to accommodate this somehow (ie either direct or via the Apple TV). What do people recommend? Cheers, Pete
