Arcam Cd 192 !!Good amp needed to pair with it!!
Hi, i am bi amping !! I think !! 4 wires and terminals at each end of speaker wire . 1 live and one negative in each amp to going to hf and lf on speakers . So i think bi amping thanks!!
Ok you're bi-amping..But just in case you change your mind I would suggest get second hand class A or AB integrated amp with plenty of power and current and forget about bi-amping. Your speakers are not that difficult to drive IMO.
I will probably just stick with what I have then, I just feel sometimes it just needs a bit more sonic awareness when turned up loud!! Thanks !!
I also like the reviews of the roksan caspian m11, would this sound good with the cd192 and gs10,s?? With or without arcam p90 and bi wired or not bi wired??

This was one of the reasons for suggesting the Leema, Naim XS and Caspian. They are that good you wouldn't need to use a powe amp IMO.
thank you for your reply plastic penguin, I think I would probably go for the roksan caspian mark two and then sell the p90 and a90. I might modify the wiring and stay bi wired! would you go for single wiring yourself or bi- wire, if i go single wires then i can also sell my rumour 4 cables, the two hardest parts are silver or black and secondly !! getting around the missus !! lol!

Definitely single wire. Bi-wiring with a power amp makes sense, but a single box is different IMHO.
Looks like the roksan caspian mk 11, and i will be single wiring it to my M A GS10's. whats a good wire and how much , can anybody help?? Will be used with Arcam CD 192 !!

If you like Rumour then the single wire version should fit the bill, or if budget allows, Chord Odyssey 2.
Or there's the Harman HK990 amp - massive powerhouse of a thing. 150wpc, massive power supply, but can handle peaks of up to 300wpc. Important if you're looking to drive your speakers well.
For cable I would try VAn Damme OFC which is about £4 pm, depending on thickness and length or if that is too much try VD Blue which is about £2.50, this is sold by pro. suppliers rather than hifi shops.
you really ought to demo a couple of amps on your shortlist though - you have determined that the Roksan Caspian is better than Arcam A38 simpy based on a couple of peoples comments - how do you know you prefer the Roksan sound to the Arcam one and why do you percieve that the Roksan is better than the Arcam ? if the Roksan doesnt need a power amp (as mentioned) at 85w per channel then arguably neither would the Arcam A38 at 105w per channel.
it may of course work out that you like Roksan better but given the price bracket your are in a demo first is always a good thing. amps do have different presentations and you need to work out which style you prefer. I would try to listen to the Roksan, Arcam A38 and Naim XS just to see what you like best - i personally preferred the Arcam to the Naim but many prefer it the other way around.
Couldn't agree more, CL.

The list doesn't have A38 or Leema Pulse though.
Leema Pulse MKII-S; Naim CD5i MKII; Denon TU-260L MKII; MA RS6 speakers; Pro-ject Xpression 1; loads of different cables...
