Amp for focal spirit one headphones for around £100

Hi all , I have just bought a pair of focal spirit one headphones and oh my god the sound difference between them and my old cheap ones is staggering -separation , clarity ... To put it into motoring terms it is like comparing the handling between a ford ka and an Aston Martin db9 . I am wondering wether it is worth my while buying a headphone amp to make the sound even better ? I can only stretch to £100? But I am totally lost - gain, impedance, tubes etc it is like another world , please help ? Oh yeah I mainly listen to music through my laptop but also use my ipad and iPod if that helps . Thanks in advance .
