Amp and Speakers advice

I have a Marantz CD 5400 cd player and need an amp and speaker combo to suit I have been using the cd player with my surround receiver but have decided to convert our spare room in to a listening room it is quite small at only 3 mt square and would appreciate any advice offered

In a room that size I'd suggest the Rotel RA-04 amplifier and B&W's new 685 speakers, or a pair of the old 602S3s, would suit very well. You might also consider the excellent Monitor Audio Bronze BR2 speakers.
