advise on Cd-player and cables

 Hello.

Pardon my spelling. Im from Sweden.....

I have a NAD setup with the C372 amp, C541i cd and cerwin vega cls12 speakers.

Cables are tara labs prism 2200i and supra 2,0 ply. My problem Is the midrange that to me Is a bit "out of focus". I changed the interconnects to the free ones and the midrange became clearer but everything else got really bad so thats not the way to go. Im thinking, maby a new cd player would do the trick or maby another cable should clear things up. Whats your adwise....?
