Sorry, having problems posting my question.

I'm looking to get a pioneer  cd player to match my (rather old) amp a SA 7800. I've seen four currently listed on ebay and wondered if anyone could advise me on them. Model Numbers are PD S703, PD S705, PD 8700 and PD S901

Thanks in advance

Re: Advice on Pioneer CD Players

The 703, 705 and 901 were all well-respected machines, were very solidly built and some are still sought-after by some buyers as transports to be used with an offboard DAC.

Of the three I'd go for the 901, which was the most expensive in its day, and if it's in good working order should be a really good buy. Noticed on e-bay the chap in Devon selling one with current bids at £60 or so - if it's a good one that seems like a bit of a steal to me.
