Which £200.00 headphones

I am in the process of buying a new pair of on ear headphones, mainly for use at home with iPod and iPad. I have narrowed my choice down to Harman Kardon CL or B&W P3. I have auditioned both at my local Apple store listening to the same couple of tracks on an iPhone 4. I found the CLs extremely open and balanced with a good midrange. Surprisingly the P3s were much less insightful and I would even go so far as to describe them as slightly muffled in direct comparison with the CLs. Obviously I won't get the chance to run them in until I've purchased them. Although I love the sound of the CLs, the styling of the P3 still appeals. Does anyone have any advice as an owner of either of these phones.
