Trusty Shure's 210's given up
Hi all
Well my Shure se210's have finally given up on me after years of excellant service so I'm now in the market for some more in ear phones. I've looked at this years award winners on this site and my mine question is does the performance difference between Beyerdynamics DTX 101 iE and the MMX 101 iE warrent the 40 odd quid price difference?
Cheers
Anybody there? Any opinons folks?

I checked Amazon, inconclusive, checked WhatHiFi, not much info, finally came to this. I get the impression they are supposed to be the same more or less in sound except for the mic. You have to scroll down quite a ways, maybe 2/3 of a *very* long page to get to the DTX101 at $89 USD. But this guy does have a pretty detailed evaluation of the sound.
Thanks for the reply and link. That is a pretty long page that guy knocked out. He doesn't seem all that impressed with the S.Q really saying its quite bass heavy and only giving it 7.5/10. I might have to have a re-think.
Does any one else have any in ear headphone suggestions for max £100?

Forgot to add I'll be using them with my 64Gb ipod touch, also would the performance be a marked step up from my old Shures?
