I'm talking about those stupid looking things that fit around your ears and are joined by a strap, not in-ear phones.

I'm voting yes.  Headphones should never, ever, ever, ever be taken outside.[EDITED BY MODS - HOUSE RULES; PLEASE WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE] And no right-thinking  government should encourage its citizens to do that.

Perhaps What Hi-Fi should have an extra rating on all its headphone reviews to reflect just how much of an [EDITED BY MODS] you'll seem if you do wear them on the bus or tube?

I vote no, there are too many laws in this country as there is.

I say yes too. The reason for that is that I nearly ran someone over coming back from WHF on tuesday. Stupid woman walked straight out in front of me. Papped horn and still didn't notice me. Heaven knows what she was listening to. In ear phones only for outside use, for the safety of others and to stop these people becoming Lemmings.

Surely in-ear phones would only make that problem worse?
