Hi I am looking for a pair of headphones for under £200. Can you suggest the best one I can get with that much money ?
I can't tell you what's best but the Grado SR80i that I use are a very good listen.
You really need to listen for as long as possible before buying if at all possible because h/phones are more difficult than speakers. Not only have you to decide about the sound you like but also the comfort factor because some great sounding cans are absolutely sh#te when worn for long listens.
Apple Lossless - ATV3 - AVI ADM 40 also ATV3 into AVI ADM 9T [my wife's system]
and Grado SR80i
Based on the last 60 headphones I've purchased, this is the best. Quadpatch, who is expert with these things and posts here, would probably concur.
MrSpeakers Alpha Dog, FAD Pandora VI, Beyer DT1350/T51p, v-moda M100/M80, Beyer A200p/Microstreamer/FiiO E07k DAC/amps, PA2V2 amp.
Thanks. So how is it compare to other AKG and Senheiser products ? Can you tell me your experience on it ?
For a comprehensive comparison to the many Sennheiser and AKG headphones, visit head-fi dot org and look at David Mahler's 50 Best Headphones review. It's a long read, but your question requires it.
