Novice requires help on Headphone Amp!
Just bought Musical Fidelity VDAC Mk2 & Power Supply to use with my iMac, hopefully arrive in next few days and it got me thinking about my current headphone set up.
At moment just plug my Grado S80's direct into my Sony CDP-XB930 using the internal pre amp I assume, sounds ok but wonder if a headphone amp would improve sound? Looked at various reviews Fiio etc but wondered if anybody was using the Grado's if they could recommend? Also use an Ipod Classic with SoundMagic E10 phones so was wondering if there is a unit that could be used for both sized jacks for home and portable enough for use with ipod? Money is bit tight after DAC purchase so maybe £100 tops area?

Nice one Dale, I can't think of anything that would better fit his budget and needs given he has an iPod as well. I second that recommendation!

Do report in please when you've tested etc. 
FiiO E17 would be good. You can use ipods etc. out of the Line Out Dock port for best sound.
