Need some headphone advice for a present

Hi, I am looking to get my nephew a pair of headphones for christmas. He normally listens to his IPOD with the orginal rubbish ipod headphones supplied so was looking at either the Sennheiser 300 II in-ear or the Sennheiser HD 228- which one would you recommend? although they are different as one is in-ear and the other closed back on-ear which would give him more listening pleasure? I loves to listen to hip hop, for example Kidd Kudi Regards, Me

Get him the IEMs if you do not want him to annoy others with leaking sound from over ear headphones. The HD202 over ear headphones are also excellent for big bass fans.
