need new lead

ive got goldring ns1000 my little lad has done something so it only comes out of the left ear and the odd time if you keep twisting it around you may get both. im sure there is almost a clean break inside the cable it is a 1m qed lead can you get them on there own

ive just had a look and no joy so what im after is a tiny 3.5mm to a 3.5mm female socket that can plug in and be left there that will sit almost flush with the housing and then i can use any lead.
I found the cable to a bit too short and hunted high and low to find a longer cable which fitted the socket on the headphones. but no joy and I ended up using an extension cable instead. I would get in touch with Goldring and/or QED who make the cables for Goldring. They must have spares.
Internet - laptop - DAC - amp - lots of headphones.
