monitors to connect to digital recording device?

Hi.....I'm looking at Active speakers to connect to my new dig. recorder ( Boss BR800)....slightly damaged...£107 each ?...they are "Bi Amp" speakers.

 

Probably daft question...do I need to buy a pair of these?   thanks
