I'm in need of some good quality, small preferably foldable headphones which should come with some kind of case. My budget is <£300. They need to work with my mobile phone (iphone; up/down volume and mic)

a friend of mine recommended beats mixr but I'm not sure they come with the phone controls (his don't have them)

B&W P5's would be a better choice.

thanks, I've seen the p3s have a better review on here and they are foldable too - what do you think about those? Also, how's the "grip" on these headphones? I don't want them falling off easily as I'd probably use the for jogging

the grip is mentioned against the p3s

edit: btw - wouldn't these be better? http://www.whathifi.com/review/bose-quietcomfort-15 they got 5 stars too - just not too sure about the having to keep changing the batteries

Don't go too much by the reviews on WHF as they have some strange conclusions, best if you listen to them for yourself.

I haven't heard the P3's so can't comment but I thought the Bose QC15 were poor for the money. They might be better when you are out and about though with the noise canceling, although I haven't tried them in this situation, can't say I went for a jog with any of them on either.................

The B&W headphones will not stay on for jogging. And besides that, I would not recommend a high quality headphone for jogging for a number of reasons, sweat buildup being just one.

When making a dash for the bus etc., simply pull the headphone down around your neck with one hand.

Funny though, with many of those "portable" headphones you cannot do that. They just don't fit under the chin.
