Does "over ear" mean around

Does "over ear" mean around or on ear, since both are over the ear?

Focal Elear, Beyer DT1770/T70p, Grado PS1000e, B&O H6, DragonFly1.2/DragonFly Black/Oppo HA2 DAC/amps, Lehmann Traveler amp.

'Over' should mean 'Around', but in this case I think he means 'On', as I can't imagine people using 'Around' for the gym.

Thanks Edd - it generally confirms my worst-case dread. I've seen so many cases where users are angry after getting the wrong thing, and some of those customers are not able to return their items.

The Audio-Technica ATH-CKX

The Audio-Technica ATH-CKX series are very good, as are the Klipsch A5i Sport. Both are very comfortable and sound great too.
