Frends womens' headphones
I got the larger one ('Taylor') from the Apple store, and while it's advertised as a fashionable headphone for women (for Holiday gift giving no doubt), I would not give such an ugly-sounding device to anyone. There are several headphones at the Apple store I don't like because they are so far off of the high fidelity curve that they're not fixable with i-device EQ (headphones made for iPods and iPhones), yet the Taylor is in a class by itself, having such an irregular midrange that the distortions seem to move around with different music tracks. As fashion, the Taylor is very low-cost jewelry, having a minimal build and very scratchable outer earcups. Not recommended for that either.

What I think is going to be the problem here, since most buyers will give these as an upscale ($200 USD) fashion gift, is the recipient will soon discover that the 'look' will deteriorate quickly (as I found when scratches appeared quickly during my brief listening), and if they listen to the headphone much, the subconscious irritation with the bad sound going directly into their ears will have them discarding this gift sooner than later.
What you've got to remember is that most people are happy with the sound of a pair of headphones if they're capable of reproducing a recognizable song. If they look nice/stylish, that will be given a higher priority than SQ
