Currys/PC World shops, demo the Sennheiser range.

I had a look into one of the new Currys and PC World mega store yesterday. They have a headphone demo area with most of the Sennheiser range from £25 to £150. You can listen to a selection of their own music or take along your own mp3 player and plug it in. I think it was 16 headphones in all. Very impressive, if you want to demo Sennheisers.
Then there was the entire Monster Beats Dr Dre range and at the ipod stand various Philips headphones.

John Lewis is also a good place to demo. The B&W P5 and various Denons along with other brands can be found at their listening post.

Apple store is also a good place to demo headphones, I tried BnW p5s (not worth the money if u want hi-fi headphones btw), a horrid beats solo by dre and even a few entry level Sennheisers and lost of Bose headphones. Needless to say the Sennheisers were the most impressive considering their price. What saddens me is that people only get to demo only these 'casual' headphones...they have no idea what seriously good headphones sound like.
