Audez LCD-3s
So far I love my pair of Senn. HD800 however I can spare some money and am considering of buying a pair of Audez LCD-3s which is said to be warmer than my HD800 but still maintain all the dyanmics and clarity and details like Senn. It seems that there is no distributors in the UK. I am unable to google one here. Anyone has any idea where I can get a pair in the UK
decentaudio.co.uk
itemaudio.com
Good. Decentaudio has no online purchase but itemaudio had.
I will contact the former by e-mail but will most likely place order from the later. I wll check if there are other distributors before making my final decison. The price of this wonderful headphone is around 1920 GBP which is not too bad though double the price of my HD800
About the same price in dollars in New York - you could fly there, buy them and still save a couple of hundred quid.

I also noticed that after searching some US sites
I will ask one of my friends to buy a pair for me when he goes to the US on business trip.
Two days ago I noticed that someone was selling his LCD2 in the Bay for £699 + postage. The condition looks very good from the photos.
When I decided to purchase it today it is gone. I am a bit regret of acting slow
there was also a pair a couple of weeks ago that went for £566.00 which I missed out on
they come up occasionally on there, and I keep my eyes open, just in case.
From what I hear they have made quite a few significant changes along the way and some of the older ones had some issues with the wood so it seems like a good idea to buy these new if you can.
Definitely yes - the original LCD2 had treble issues and they've made other changes too. It's really best to get the latest.
Thanks for all the comments. I know LCD2 has revision 2 which gives better trebles while the latest LCD3's treble is even better. But the price of LCD3 is doubled that of LCD2 and the improvement is only about 20% according to some reviews.
BTW do folks have any other recommendations that sounds better than my HD800 ?
I live in London, dont earn that much and have to find somewhere new to live in the next month.
How about spending that couple of grand you have lying around on me instead? You can still enjoy those headphones you already have which you love, and I will be two grand better off.
I think that's what they call a win-win scenario.
owned both of these before HD800 and the audez . Both very good sounding use taket h2+ with tr2 transfomer now
Huge difference in sound quality http://www.facebook.com/TaketH2Fans
ALL hiend headphones need a very good headphone amp to sound there best

Well, I also live in London but I have no intention of moving out
Work harder and eventually you will be rewarded
£2000 buys a lot of food.
I mean, how could anyone justify spending that on a pair of headphones? Ridiculous.

The hifi headphone guys told me they would get some in soon, well that was the LCD-2, I assume they would be able to do both.
