Attractive Headphones
Having just bought Audio Technica ATH-WS55 headphones, they do sound great but are rather ugly and stick out in public.
Are there any more attractive models of similar spec and performance that look better on the eye without breaking the bank?
I think the VModa M-80s are pretty and the certainly sound good.
Hi Bedrock glad you like the ws55's but your right i don't think they're great to wear out and about.
Thats why i bought the AKG K450 .But be carefull ! At first i thought they were terrible, now(and i can't believe im saying this) i actually prefer them to the Audio T's .

In what way do you now think they are better than AT?
I thought the pearl-white M80 is the best looking headphone I ever saw. Much better in person than in photos.
Do you know of the cheapest place to get those V-MODA headphones?
If you're patient and willing to track the Amazon price over a period of time, I've seen them reduced from the normal $200-$230 down to $150. But beware of "really good" deals on v-modas, since there are many fakes around.
I didn't say they were better its just that i prefer them.
They are much more comfortable , lighter and less pressure on the ear and i guess i've got used to the sound.
The ws55's definately sound better, but i keep grabbing the AKG's
