ARCAYDIS DM1 and EB ACOUSTICS EB1

Has anyone had first hand experience of these two, do they differ much in sound? recommend or stay away? I have a smallish listening room 3.5mx4m and they need to go close close to the wall. Looking to use them with a leema pulse and rega saturn.
Just to add, I was looking at secondhand slim floorstanders, PCM GB1's, Neat Motive, Kudos x2's - but was thinking that I could possibly get a very similar sound for a lot less money with the DM1's or EB1's.
