RE: Wii U launched

Just ordered Premium with Nintendland for £250.

Not been into games for a few years, but have a young baby so tend to be in the house more and need something other than films and TV to kill that final hour or so before I go to bed. I \won't buy loads of games I don't think, just need s decent few and a good driving game.

Never been into Nintendo consoles and games really, but this had Zombi U, and Aliens, Project CARS, and Rayman Legends coming which look really good, plus other more mainstream games, and should be good for parties and the kids as they get a bit older.

Getting a 360 or PS3 at £150 and them quickly become obsolete seemed a bit of a waste, and waiting for successors didn't appeal so much either. Looking at current info they don't seem as if they'll be massively more powerful, and I'm not sure where more power is really needef for games TBH, and I feel as if lots of the 360 franchises I've done on my old original XBox plus they aren't so kid friendly. There's lots of talk of media streaming, PVR, but I've got all that stuff already.

Wii U felt a bit cheaper especially with the recent drop, and seems to have some good features and interesting ideas. Hopefully should last me for a bit, but if not not so expensive I can't get a PS4 or whatever. Sales seem to have gone OK, so hopefully it will last a bit.

Well Need For Speed Most Wanted is due out soon (March/April),

Dirt & F1 2013  are another good example out sometime during 2013

The Walking Dead (March/April)

Battlefield 4 near the end of the year

So there are some good games in the pipeline and you know all the Nintendo hits like Mario Kart , Zelda & Pilot Wings are all on there way this year.

I'm looking forward to Aliens next month.
