Hello All,

The subject says it all. I would like to start watching some HD content on my TV. I use Blu Ray on my PS3 and i am impressed with that but at the moment i only use freeview.

I watch any old tosh on telly so i dont mind whats on.

Any advice on what you have or recommend would be great.

Thanks

Dave

Re: Which one Sky HD or Humax Freesat

There are a few things to consider (as you will see if you've followed the link daveh75 posted), but for me the most pertinent fact to bear in mind is...

Regardless of any initial outlay, Sky HD will cost AT LEAST a minimum £318 per year

(£26.50 per month is minimum channel package of £16.50 plus £10 HD package)

Regardless of initial outlay, freesat is free, and the setting-up cost will still be cheaper than 1 year's worth of Sky HD!

Thanks daveh75 i have just read the thread and it looks like freesat humax will win. It seems to do what i want and is cheaper. Like one of the threads said no one knows how much things will be in 12 months and with freesat its just a one off cost. Thanks again
