Sky customer service thats a laugh
A few weeks ago I had a free spanking brand new small hd box fitted by an engineer to replace an ageing thomson one that couldnt recieve anytime+ having multi room as well the eng suggest I swap boxes putting the old hd box into multi room "just have to ring sky and get it paired he said" this I did telling the girl on the phone I didnt want a second hd sub just wanted the normal package after a few hours I noticed I was getting hd on the multi room so rang up to tell them as checking my account online I was getting charged 2 hd subs to be told that I would have to pay a disconnection fee having got something I didnt ask for they eventually said they would take it off without charge ,Having just got back from 2 weeks hols turned on my main tv to see that hd had been turned off but guess what it was still on the multi room following 4 phone calls eventually got it sorted asked for a manager to ring as I was unhappy with service he rang 2hrs later to say sorry gave me 3 mths free hd and said had sorted the account out turning the tv on the next day he had put everything as was after holiday couldnt believe it so another 3 calls to sort it out again finally thought good everything ok .Emagine my surprise when today I got a letter saying they were going to charge me £88 for cancelling hd straight on the phone and they said oh its an automatic letter that gets sent out we wont take the money out well guess what I dont belive them so I wait and if it comes out then I will go to the darkside (virgin) and sky will lose my £1000 + I give them each year
