Hi everybody,

I am about to install satelite dish for the freesat. What is
the advantage of installing bigger then 60cm dish? Should I consider bigger
dish? Will it able me to view channels from other satellites (motorised dish).
I was told that if I want to watch channels from other satellites I need bigger
dish. Any suggestions? Should I install motorised bigger dish? Will I have more channels options?

 Thanks in advance.

Generally, you need a bigger dish the further out you go in the satellite's footprint. i.e. as the signal gets weaker. (sometimes, you need a bigger dish to overcome local signal weaknesses).

So, if you're intending to go motorised and get signals from satellites where the UK is not the prime target for the signal, then a bigger dish is a good idea. In fact you might have to go to 120cm for some sats.

Of course, the signals form other sats may need to be decoded in some way too.
