Just got the SKY 1tb box for 49.00 but......

Hey called up sky and they are coming tuesday.

I had to sign up for another 1 year contract but, they are giving me HD charge 3 months free, 60.00 Credit after 45 days of my account being active, and the 1TB box for 49.00.

He said I would have to use my old box upstairs, I thought they would give me a new box, what happens if the old multiroom hd box konks out in 3 months, I am not paying 20.00 per month for something I can use, so are they going to extend my warranty on my old box I have had for 2 years ? I would have thought they would give me a new box with a full warranty.

Just added another 20.00 per month on my contract, I dont even really need HD in my bedroom as I have a Media PC in my bedroom

But 60.00 credit and 3 months free HD charge seems ok

Also the word on the street is,  that Sky are planning to ditch the extra 10.00 per month charge for 2 HD boxes in the same house in october , so You only pay 1 HD charge no matter how many boxes you have, fingers crossed
