hi imo there is now far too much entertainment to choose from
like sky virgin terrestial tv bbc iplayer sky player itv player
vingins player,, on the music side theres spotify itunes and all the other sites streaming music
then threres blu ray dvd hdtv way   far too many raidio stations,  i now find its
over saturated with all types of entertainment

i find it hard to keep up with it all now theres 3d tv as well
i now find i am just jumping from one medium to another and dont listen to albums
all the way through as i used to, theres just so damn much
to choose from i love spotify for my music but i often just dont know where to start at times
so what do you think is there just too much too choose from.

Couldn't agree more, but then I can remember when we only had two TV channels, plus the Light, Home and Third Programmes...

Just take life more slowly, put a CD on, sit back and relax. Then an hour later pop another one on.

You know it makes sense.

I remember listening to the Glen Miller Band on the light programme during the war (Ahhh memories), TV didn't start up again for a couple of years after the end of the war, by this time we had moved to Jersey where there was no TV at all until the early 50's when a small cable company (Redifffusion) piped BBC TV to a few places in St Helier. They set up a special service for the Coronation and we all crowded into church halls to watch a black and white pic which faded into snow every now and then.

When ITV launched in about 1955 people rushed out to buy new band 3 aerials and special set top boxes so they could receive the new ITV. Compare that with today, when the public want set top boxes for free because of the extra choice provided by digital TV.

Those were the days-----------!Smile
