Can anyone assist me. As a result of a 1.3 metre dish I get sky down here in Southern Spain. Will I be able to receive freesat output down here too?

Thanks

Re: Freesat in Spain?

I remember Clare putting up a post a week or so back with confirmation that Freesat is only available in the UK. Fraid I can't find it now due to initial forum issues otherwise I'd link it, but I remember it as clear as day, so I'm afraid you won't be able to.

Re: Freesat in Spain?

From astra2d.com

"Freesat broadcasts from the same fleet of satellites as Sky Digital, Astra 2A, Astra 2B, Astra 2C, Astra 2D and Eurobird 1. Channels are broadcast using DVB-S. The Freesat programme guide will be broadcast from the Eurobird 1 satellite situated at 28.5ø east."

So I imagine the snswer is yes, europe will be able to receive it with the right dish.
