I phoned VM tonight to cancel my contract cos I'm moving house, and when I mentioned that I was planning to move to Sky, the woman told me about the fact that XL customers would be getting Living, Nat Geo, MTV and FX in HD (which I know is covered in another thread), but she also said that we would get ESPN and ESPN HD free too when they start up next month.

I've read about ESPN being offered free, but what about HD? Is this true? Has anyone else heard this? It might actually convince me to stay with VM instead of switching to Sky.

Edit: It seems we'll actually be getting C4 HD soon too. Sorry, it this has all been covered elsewhere.
