Digital Audio out on Sky HD box...

Now, big question....I need SPDIF out on my Sky box, namely because I use a house wide Audio Authority 2x LAN distribution system and I don't want to convert the TOSLINK to SPDIF outside the box...too many cables, too many transformers...

Has anyone out there added normal digital audio out to their Sky HD boxes? Am I right in assuming all I do is solder two wires to the Signal pin and the Ground pin...ignoring Vin?

 Will the TOSLINK work simultaneously?
