best connection method - sky + to samsung 37in tv
I have just been round my mates at he has sky plus and a Samsung tv (new one but not sure of model). What connection method between the 2 would give the best picture quality etc??
I know about HI Fi, but have not got Sky as refuse to hand over my money, so could not comment. He thought I would know as he thinks I am a geek for liking good sounds out of my hi fi!

No receiver, so just straight to tv. Is that the best connection, scart, it seems so dated for a new system?
If it is, then I take it one of the qed jobbies would be the best place to look?
Yes,the standard Sky+ boxes only have scart or s-video connections. The QED scart or similar will give better pq than the standard cheapy supplied one....potboyslim:No receiver, so just straight to tv. Is that the best connection, scart, it seems so dated for a new system?

Well assuming he doesn't have an A/V amp/receiver,If it's standard Sky+ then scart from Sky box to tv.
If it's Sky+HD,then HDMI straight to tv....
