I emailed Panasonic to ask when they would be making iplayer available n their tvs. This is the reply I got
"We are aware that features on Freesat such as BBC iplayer are in beta testing at the moment on some Freesat set-top boxes, but we have no further information on testing with other products
We trust that the above information will be of assistance to you. However, of course, if you should have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us on 0844 844 3852 or email us using the following email address:

Kind Regards,"
Poor show from Panasonic imho.
Sony have only been producing Freesat TV's a short time, and yet still managed to release the firmware fairly quickly to enable iplayer.
From what i've read LG are very close to releasing their firmware update too.
And yet Panasonic have been producing Freesat TV's longer than anyone, and it's looking increasingly likely will be getting iplayer last.
To say I was disappointed in their vague underwhelming response would be an understatement. They trumped up freesat in their shops, but now seem to care less

Given that Panasonic seemed to the the manufacturer who've supported FreeSat the most I would have thought their sets would be the first to get iplayer enabled.
