Hi,

When BBC1 HD is broadcasting the 'your regional programme is available on channel 101/1..' because they can't broadcast regional programmes, is this message shown in all regions?

Well as BBC1 HD don't broadcast regional programmes (yet) I would have naturally assumed so. Why do you ask?

I asked as I didn't know what they did. Do they show London news in the capital and that message elsewhere?

As far as I know, that message is shown in all regions when regional opt-out programmes are being broadcast.

Nope, BBC1 HD doesn't show any regional programming. There's only one stream so they wouldn't be able to broadcast the message and regional news in London (or any other region) simultaneously.

Thanks all. I saw a snippet of something t'other day when the message disappeared - as if someone had got the timing wrong somewhere or an overrun of a programme from elsewhere and it made me wonder if the message was nationwide.
