Virgins TiVo box

Just a quick question regarding the Virgin Tivo box:

They say it has its own built in broadband router and an ethernet port.  Could this router be wired to my Sony Blu-Ray to get the online content or would I still require a stand alone router??

No the inbuilt modem in the TiVo is just to feed the on demand features of the box, so it does not use up any of your broadband connection speed, there's no output for additional devices,
