STV HD on Freesat, Sky.

E-Mailed STV, to see if there was any news about STV HD coming to the above any time soon, instead of going to non- freesat mode, and this was their reply, just if any STV area viewers are interested.

We arrange STV HD on a platform by platform basis and at present STV HD is available on Freeview if you are served by the Blackhill Transmitter or Transmitters that have completed Digital switchover, STV HD is also available on Virgin Media ,


With regards to Satellite, we are in ongoing discussions with the other parties involved – Sky, Freesat and ITV Network. We cannot comment on the detail of these discussions.
