Sky subscription

Thought I'd save myself an hour on the phone to Sky and ask here first - I'm going on holiday at the end of May for about a month and was wondering if I can lower my Sky packages to basics for that month to save some cash - could I then just phone up and reactivate packages on my return?
Any help would be appreciated!

As far as I'm aware, yes you can.

You may find they'll offer you a deal, as it's common for people to reduce their packages at this time of the year due to the football season ending and spending less time watching TV due to better weather/longer days.

Ok, thanks for the replies. I've been in touch with Sky and tey've reduced my packages to the base level for the month I'm away.
Thanks again

Good question, although I'm not sure Sky (or Virgin for that matter) would allow you to alter the terms of your contract for just a month, but it's worth asking.
