New Tivo box sd picture quality
Had the Tivo box fitted this morning and I have to say I am a little dissapointed with the sd channels picture quality.
They seem a fair bit softer than the old pace 15 year old box's picture, and alot softer than my ps3 play tv.
The ps3 scales the pictures up to 1080p, where as I have the Tivo box set to output at 1080i. Colours also seem a bit duller on the Tivo so have notched it up a bit on the tv's colour setting.
Have tried 2 different hdmi cables in case it was those, but no.
HD pictures are good, but nowhere near bluray.
Anyone else found this or maybe i've missed something?????

there is an update to the software going out this week which should make the SD definition better. So has been said by VirginMedia.

Don't know, jiggyjoe, they work fine at our end 
You could try telling the Tivo not to upscale at all and let the TV do it, that might make a better job of it.
No signature worth mentioning...
