Is it still possible to get a DVD player with recordable freeview

Hi Guys,

 

I am  looking for something for my Aunty and she is adiment she would like DVD, recordable freeview combo. Is this still available?

If not what would you recommened?

Panasonic certainly still do them - clicky.

The only thing is, for not much more money, you can get a Blu-ray + HDD recorder which will also have Freeview HD built in e.g. Samsung BD-D8500 or the Panasonic DMR-BWT700. Depending on her circumstances, this might make more sense i.e. if she has an HDTV (or is likely to get one at some point). Of course, if she wants it specifically to record to DVD, then the Samsung wouldn't be much good either.
