HUMAX HDR FOX-T2 dissappointed.

I've had a Humax HDR FOX-T2 for a couple of months now and I have to say I'm quite dissappointed with it. I truly find it strange that it received five stars in the WHFS&V review actually...well and a few other places really. There are a number of issues with it, but it really is mostly down the absolutely dire TV guide (and it can't < or > through mpegs...regular mpegs as well)

Anyhow, if anyone has any experience of this PVR and can offer any ways to improve the experience I'd be grateful. Perhaps non Humax hacks/firmware to address its deficiencies?

Okay, seems there's a dedicated user forum for this particular machine so I shall ask Qs there as it would be more appropriate.

RE: HUMAX HDR FOX-T2 dissappointed.

I've enjoyed using mine almost every day since I bought it in March last year.

On the few occasions that i've used a USB stick to 'record' from it (SD only as HD is encrypted) it's been fine. Played back from USB too. Again no problem.

I find nothing wrong with the EPG.  (Far better than Panasonic.)

Best piece of TV related equipment I have bought in years.
