Freesat and snow?
Fri, Jan 18 2013, 4:50PM
Hi
I'm house sitting at the moment for the inlaws, they have Freesat which, in the last coupe of hours, suddenly has no signal.
I can see the dish is about 70% caked in snow - is this the problem?
Thanks

Do it gently, you don't want to knock the lnb.
It's still snowing here, so mine will need doing soon, but for me, it does mean actually going outside, and I'm not overly keen to do that.

Thankfully a few gentle taps dislodged the snow.

It'll be snow on the lnb blocking the signal. Can you reach it to brush it off?
