DAB+ Benefit , Band L Benefit

I was considering getting into digital radio and have been looking at Denon DM38 DAB+ and Cambridge Audio One+.

I noticed from specifications that the Denon DM38 only has Band III coverage and that the Cambridge Audio has Band L in addition. As the Denon is considerably cheaper is it worth the extra for Band L what would I be missing.

On a more basic view is it worth having DAB+ or for the UK is DAB enough. I was thinking of future proofing hence looking at DAB+ units.
