clip on earbuds

I recently perchased a Pure Digital Pocket Dab 1500 radio.

Great piece of kit, the problem I have is finding a pair of ear phones to go with it. The earphone supplied with it didn't fit my ears.so I bought a pair of Sony MDRQ66lww clip ons.

2 problems

1 they are heavy and pull down on my ears( my ears do stick out bit like Prince Charles)

2 as the cable is a bit thin it's difficult to get a consisdent reception.

I'm looking for a pair of earphones simaler to the Sony  MDR-AS40  would these work with the radio
