BBC 7 - Hancock's half Hour.
This evening I listened to the above. It starred the usual mob: Sid James, Kenneth Williams and Hancock himself, all playing different roles. I've never heard anything so funny, and the scripts are great. Highly recommended. Brilliant stuff.
JohnDuncan:One of the great things I found about the NaimUniti is that it has podcasts from lots of (particularly BBC) radio stations secreted away, and I listened to a HHH just the other day...
You Uniti boys are the limit. So privileged, while lesser mortals have to make do Freeview radio via the TV...![]()
Actually, you probably had a better selection on there, since I could only find one.
And I am not a UnitiBoy, I'm just lookin' after it...

Ah, right - a Unitisitter then?
Not sure whether its age or not, but the last couple of weeks I've listened to more and more of BBC 7 adaptations - simply engrossing.
Early hours of Sunday they had an adaptation of "The Lady Killers" (the original Ealing Studio version). I've got the film but radio brings a whole new dimension. It was probably the best hour and a half of loafing I've done in years.
