Hey guys, I think there was a couple people interested in my thoughts on the Fostex HP-A3. It's taken me a bit longer than I thought to get through this one but here it is. The £300 USB powered DAC & headphone amplifier from Fostex. This unit was loaned to me by SCV London.

Sounds interesting, but a bit of a faff.

As I was looking for something to use with my computer at work together with some well sealed closed back headphones, I think I'll save my money and just bring in my FUBAR III which I don't use that much at home anyway.

Hey ID, would you be needing the optical connection, or did I over emphasise the faffiness?

I'm curious about the Fubar DAC & amps actually, I must try and hunt down a distributor!

Sorry, been away for a while.

Probably a combination of faffiness and the fact that I'd like other inputs that would give me better flexibility in how I can use it. Then again, if it  pops up locally at a good price...
