Dragonfly Silent with 48/96K on Mac

My new Audioquest Dragonfly arrived this morning. I'm directly connecting it to my 11" MacBook Air (Mid 2011) running OS X 10.7.5 and using Audirvana Plus for play back.
- When playing 44/88K files it works great.
- When I play any 48/96K files it's silent.
- The colour indicator on the Dragonfly changes correctly to blue/magenta for 48/96K files.
- The 48/96K files play fine out of the internal speakers or if forced to 44 or 88K.
I have a sinking feeling my unit is faulty, but any suggestions on how to resolve this are greatly appreciated!

Turns out it was faulty.
Spoke to Peter Tyson by phone and they sent me out a replacement with a prepaid return envelope. Hooray for excellent customer service.
Just enjoying some carols on on my replacement Dragonfly as I type this.
