Zeppelin Air - placement against the wall

I'm considering getting Zeppelin Air to put on my desk but it would have to be relatively close to the wall. I've read that if you put the Zeppelin too close to the wall, the bass becomes overpowering. So can any of the Zep owners comment on how far from the wall it should be placed for the bass to sound good, many thanks
