Ive got a hi res track from HD Tracks in 24/88.2 When I try to play the track in J River MC15 it comes up with an error message stating that unable to play at that resolution, but will work at 24/48 and mentions hardware might not support it (which the dacmagic clearly does).

Any suggestions?

I'll try changing the output mode to see if that helps. It's ythe only 88k track I have got, and its the only tracks that so far I have had a problem with.

EDIT update - I have found the problem - the optical driver in my laptop can only stream at 44, 48 and 96K so have had to set the output config of J River to upsample to 96 for any files that are greater than 48K

Only hope it is not re-sampling the 24/96 files I have d/loaded from HD Tracks, mind you I cant hear any difference so is probably irrelevant.

2nd EDIT Worth noting that J River MC15 does not resample when the native rate is the same as the output sampled rate. So, the 24/96 files are not re-sampled.
