Just bought a synology ds212 nas, and need some newbie help setting up and pairing with my onkyo 8050 amp please.

Firstly how do I transfer my music from my MacBook to the nas? I want to clear the hardrive space on MacBook completely.

Next am I better using the audio station on the nas to play the music through the onkyo? How would I connect then as to the onkyo also .

Any help would massively appreciated as I feel totally out of my depth at the moment, and I can't seem to find this stuff in the manual

Cheers.

I don't think it's a good idea to delete the songs from your MacBook. What if the hard drive fails? Use it as a backup to your MacBook instead.

RE: Synology ds212 / onkyo8050 help

Hi thanks , I have two drives in the nas one mirroring the each other, so am not too concerned about losing the music.

Does anyone know what is the quickest and best way to copy across my iTunes library from the MacBook to the nas please
